Poultry Specification

When rearing any chicken keep the bedding dry at all times. Wet bedding causes respiratory problems & as meat birds don’t roost it leads to "blistered breasts" & general lack of thrift.

One cannot fatten chickens with layers pellets. They need a higher protein ration if they are to reach their full potential. The fact that these chickens are good outside foragers leads to a great tasting meat

CHILTERN DUCKS are specially bred for laying. They are a snow white duck producing around 350 eggs/year.
